At The Complete Retreat the foundation of the detox lies in the living foods, wheatgrass, green vegetable and sunflower sprout juices and vegan raw food cuisine. This food and juice program combined with yoga, hiking, meditation and massage ensures that guests leave feeling invigorated, alive and with a feeling of wellness and improved posture that many have not experienced in years.

From the moment you arrive there is an overwhelming sense of peace and serenity, a perfect location for a body and mind overhaul. The interior of the villa is tastefully decorated and each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and private sun balcony. The layout (both interior and exterior) and large communal rooms, provide ample space to either relax in the courtyard or terraces or to soak up the sun by the pool.
Super Detox Program
An individual program is tailor made after the first consultation and assessment with a Naturopath. Later in the week, before you leave, a take home sheet with ongoing recommendations is also provided. Although most guests who come to the retreat are looking to lose weight along with their natural detox, (the average being 3kg per week), some individuals such as sportspersons, the elderly or children are not. They are catered for with extra additions.
Retreat Itinerary
Days begin with meditation followed by yoga, which is held twice daily beside the beautiful (chlorine free) infinity pool with views that stretch out to the mountains. Then there is hiking through the surrounding countryside with a member of the team followed by a beautifully prepared buffet lunch on the terrace. Guests are then free to have treatments such as massage, or to use the pool until another yoga class follows later in the afternoon. Throughout the day, wheatgrass and fresh vegetable and sprout juices are prepared. An eagerly awaited evening meal precedes an informative talk, which is held around the living room fire. A wide variety of subjects, all relating to different aspects of the program, are covered. These range from colon health and wheatgrass growing through to eating in restaurants and where to get your supplies.
Throughout the week the creative raw chef gives kitchen demos. This takes guests through from the very basics of how to use a juicer to making almond milk, kids treats and dehydrated crackers. The soaked nut cereals, sunburgers, lasagne and cauliflower 'mashed potato' are all firm favourites with clients. With access to a raw / health library throughout their stay, a personal file and love and support from the retreat team, guests leave feeling confident about how to incorporate and continue the good work at home and in their daily life.
